Virtual Shabbat & the Katz JCC

Saying Shabbat Shalom to each other every week as we usher in the Sabbath connected us – to our faith, our community and to each other. That warm greeting, along with lighting candles and reciting a blessing was something we enjoyed doing with every age group at the Katz JCC.

We celebrated Shabbat with each class in our Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center every Friday morning and with our older adults at lunch time – before the current state of events. Because we want to stay connected, we’ve adapted to the new normal of uniting as a community online. For the past two weeks, we have held virtual Shabbats on our Katz JCC Facebok page. We invite you to join us online this Friday, April 3 at 10:30am for Shabbat. Let’s continue to build relationships and connections online.

Visit and join the Katz JCC Members Facebook group and visit our website for weekly Shabbat times and a comprehensive weekly schedule.
