The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (JFED) announced that this year’s Susan Love Staff Achievement Award recipient is Donor Support Specialist Sarah Rowland. She is being recognized for her outstanding work and devotion to the organization.
“Sarah is so deserving of this special award. Her ‘can do’ positive attitude, incredible skills, and warm and caring personality have been such an asset to all of us. I celebrate with her all that she has accomplished and look forward to seeing her soar to even greater heights with Federation. It has been such a pleasure working with Sarah—a hearty Mazel Tov!” said JFED’s Director of Philanthropy Martha Karasick.
Rowland has been the donor support specialist for more than three years, and previously worked for the Betty and Milton Katz Jewish Community Center in various roles.
“I love what I do and the people I work with. The staff at JFED is unlike any other, and it truly feels like we are a large family. Working with the Jewish community in South Jersey has been a very rewarding experience. I have met amazing individuals with phenomenal stories, and helping those in need is such gratifying work,” said Rowland.
“Receiving the Susan Love Staff Achievement Award means so much to me. It’s a humbling experience to know my co-workers voted for me to receive this award named after Susan Love, the consummate professional. To know that the JFED staff sees this shows that I’m very fortunate to work with such an amazing organization,” Rowland continued.
Rowland will be honored at JFED’s virtual Joint Annual Meeting on October 23 at 7 p.m.
