JEWISH WOMEN’S FOUNDATION

Helen Gottstein (left), director of KEEP-Kol HaNeshama's English Enrichment Program in Jerusalem, took the opportunity on her recent visit to the United States to thank the Jewish Women's Foundation (JWF) members for their support. Seventeen members gathered on Oct. 19 at a special tea to learn about the program's goals and objectives and hear success stories of children whose lives have been positively changed by KEEP. Joining Gottstein were (from left), Valerie Gladfelter, JWF grants chair; Helene Blumenfeld; Sydria Schaffer, JWF chair; and Judy A. Klein, who hosted the program at her home. JWF seeks to create opportunities to bring positive change to the lives of Jewish women and girls in Southern NJ and around the world through strategic grant making. KEEP was one of the organizations selected by JWF to receive funding this year. For information on becoming a JWF member or on how organizations can apply for funding, contact Martha Karasick at (856) 751-9500, ext 1214 or mkarasick@jfedsnj.org
