OBITUARIES

DR. DONALD JEROME GOLDMAN, 88, of Hollywood, FL, passed away on Oct. 27. He was born on Oct. 19, 1930 in Wildwood, to Rebecca and Samuel Goldman. Don lived in Woodbine until age 13 and moved to Philadelphia in 1943, where he attended Central High School. He attended Temple University, graduating in 1952 and was in the US Army from 1953-1955. Don attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1959. He began family practice in Willingboro in 1960, which later became known as Sunset Road Medical Associates. He practiced medicine until his retirement in 2004. Don met his wife of 62 years, Sandy, while she took dance lessons from his sister, Lila. They married in 1956, and had three children, Howard, Jan and Judy. They resided in Willingboro, Moorestown, Mt. Laurel, and Hollywood, FL. His greatest passions were his adored grandchildren, golf, tennis, and his Philadelphia sports teams. Don is survived by his wife, Sandy, son Dr. Howard (Fay Trachtenberg) Goldman of Phila., daughter Jan (Frank) Van Zant of Huntington, NY, daughter Judy (Dr. Doug) Richter of Mt. Laurel, and his sister Lila Green. He is predeceased by his sister Arlene Dubin. Survived by his brothers-in-law, Irv Dubin, and Fred (Joan) Cohen. Also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Alex (Aria), Mallory (fianc√© Jeff), Zack, Evan, Maryn (Liam), Steven, Callan, Lia, and many beloved cousins and friends.
