Stockton-sponsored 5K now part of AC Marathon weekend

The Atlantic City Marathon Race Series is now officially partnering with Stockton University to continue the G. Larry James Legacy 5K as part of the Atlantic City Marathon weekend, October 20-21.

The G. Larry James Legacy 5K will be held in Atlantic City on Saturday, October 20, and AmeriHealth New Jersey Atlantic City Marathon & Half Marathon, presented by AtlantiCare, will be held on Sunday, October 21.

For the second consecutive year, the 5K will raise money for scholarships in honor of the late G. Larry James, Stockton University’s former director of Athletics and Recreation and an Olympic gold medalist. James won a gold and silver medals at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City as part of the U.S. Track and Field Team, was inducted into the National Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2003.
