On July 31, The Jewish Federation hosted “Friends, Philanthropy & Mindfulness,” where we continued the conversation from The Event for Women about Randi Zuckerberg’s book “Pick Three: You Can Have It All (Just Not Every Day),” and had an introduction on how meditation can positively influence our busy lives. The group enjoyed an evening of mingling and hearing about the philanthropic work of Jewish Federation. The evening ended with a guided mindful meditation, strengthening the messaging of women making time for themselves! Women philanthropists in our community work to make the world a better place, uniting through friendship, learning, and the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Tzedakah (charity).
