SGLC seniors enjoy local big band

It was truly a big band that performed at the Seashore Gardens Living Center recently, when the 26-person Hamilton Township Community Band performed a set of ten songs reflective of Tin Pan Alley, the Broadway stage and the Swing Era. The band played songs from composers from England, Brazil and the U.S., including the music of George Gershwin, Paul Simon and Cole Porter as well as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Ted Heath. Concert attendees showed their appreciation with generous applause and with numerous requests for the band to return to Seashore Gardens for an encore performance.
