JCC Teen Travel Camp to Southwestern U.S., July 17-Aug. 2, offers the experience of a lifetime

Don’t miss out: Time is almost up to sign up for the Margate JCC’s J-Voyage National Treasure Teen Tour, July 17 – August 2. Campers, age 12-16, will visit the best of the Southwest’s National Monuments. This trip includes visits to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore, just to name a few.

The J-Voyage staff to camper ratio is approximately 1:6 and is staffed by a team of mature, responsible adults. As an added bonus, this teen tour will stay overnight at five different colleges and universities, giving teens a chance to experience dorm life and the big world of academia.

“This amazing trip is a once in a lifetime experience for any teenager,” said JCC program manager Josh Cutler.

The trip will depart the JCC in Margate on July 17 and fly to Colorado, where the group will tour Rocky Mountain State Park, Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Denver Zoo, El Dorado Canyon and Boulder’s eccentric Pearl Street pedestrian mall. Next, the tour will head south to New Mexico, where teens will explore the arts, culture and beauty of Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The group will also see the Four Corners monument (where Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado meet at a single spot); the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world; Zion National Park; Salt Lake City; Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton; Mount Rushmore; and much more!

The cost for the sixteen-day trip is $3,400 per camper. Spaces are very limited. For a full itinerary, brochure, or to register, contact Josh Cutler at 609-822- 1167, extension 138, or email travel@jccatlantic.org. s
