Groundbreaking slated for July 10

Join us as the Jewish Federation breaks ground on our new affordable housing for older adults and adults with special needs on Tuesday, July 10, at 11 a.m., at 1721 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill.

This new housing at The Commons is in partnership with Pennrose Development, LLC. It will provide a high-quality, safe, and affordable housing option—one that is much-needed in our tri-county area—for senior adults and adults over 21 with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The Commons will offer 80 one- and two-bedroom apartments along with a new community building for additional onsite wraparound services and programming. The apartments are designed especially for older adults and adults with special needs, allowing them to live with comfort, independence, and dignity.

This type of housing has been a lifelong dream for many in our community, and we are excited to be taking the next step in making it a reality. The community is invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony and celebrate the occasion with us!

Please RSVP by June 26 to Dawn Stern at dstern@jfedsnj.org.
