The dedicated volunteers of the Friends of Jewish Senior Housing hosted the Third Annual Tacos & Tequila Tasting, a fundraising event to support the residents in need at Dubin, Gesher and Saltzman Houses and the healthcare residents at Lions Gate. Over 300 people attended the May 10 event and had a great time tasting the various tequilas and bidding on the silent auction items that included something for everyone. The evening’s activities included honoring two fantastic volunteers—Peggy David with the Ethel J. David Award and Carl H. Bagell, managing partner for the Southern New Jersey office for Friedman, LLP, who received the Sis Levy Award. Both were recognized for their generous time and support in helping senior residents.
