Martin Tepper Basketball League kicks off June 25

The Katz JCC is proud to offer the Martin Tepper Summer Basketball League for adults in the community, ages 18 and older, again this year. This league is a fun, competitive league of player-formed teams of seven to 10 players.

The season begins on Monday, June 25 and consists of eight regular season games held on Monday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. Each team will compete in playoffs, and all participants receive a t-shirt, and awards are given to the league champions. The games are refereed by certified officials.

“This summer league is something our teams look forward to every week. It’s an awesome way to stay active with friends while participating in some friendly competition,” said Bill Christy, Health & Wellness assistant director and JCC Sports & Recreation director.

Teams are forming now. The team fee for JCC Member teams, consisting of three or more JCC members, is $700. For non-JCC member teams, the team fee is $850. There are no free agents and players must register as part of a team.
