Brooke Shields is keynote speaker at Women’s Forum, June 7


BROOKE SHIELDS BROOKE SHIELDS Brooke Shields’ talk at the Golden Nugget for the 25th Annual Women’s Forum on June 7 will benefit Jewish Family Service in Margate as well as several other local agencies. The forum starts at 10 a.m.

The Women’s Forum— which has a fundraising goal of $80,000—benefits Greater Atlantic City Charities. JFS was selected as a recipient for its children’s services. From counseling a child following a traumatic event to providing essential food to ensure no kid is hungry, this funding will guarantee children receive essential JFS services throughout the year.

The upcoming Women’s Forum is expected to draw an audience of more than 400 attendees to hear award-winning actress, model and author Brooke Shields. A Hollywood icon, she is one of the most recognizable and successful women in the entertainment business. Shields will motivate and empower all in the room while talking about her career trajectory and life in the public eye, her experiences with motherhood, and more.

Shields began her modeling career at 11 months old and was the youngest fashion model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine at age 14. By age 16, she became one of the most recognizable faces in the world.

Shields also gained fame as an actress starting at the age of nine, appearing on film and in popular TV shows such as Law & Order. Today Shields continues her prolific career on screen and stage, and has also become a best-selling author and an advocate for women’s health and the arts.

In addition to hearing Shields speak, Women’s Forum attendees will also enjoy a vast silent auction with approximately 100 amazing baskets and prizes. An Athleta fashion show during the luncheon will also showcase all the latest trends in athletic apparel.
