Avoda members celebrate, look to the future

IRVIN SNYDER IRVIN SNYDER Irvin Snyder celebrated his 99th birthday at the Avoda Club meeting at Sal’s Café in Somers Point on April 25. “He’s 99 years old and he still wins at Poker!” joked club member Bruce Bogner.

Roughly 30 people attended the monthly club meeting, which featured a talk on the LIFE & LEGACY program by Jeff Kripitz, the Jewish Federation’s volunteer chair for the LIFE & LEGACY program. As Kripitz explained, the program is designed to ensure the future of local Jewish organizations such as Avoda by encouraging people to remember these organizations in their will, trust, life insurance policy or retirement account.

Kripitz, a new member to Avoda, owns an insurance company in Northfield and is a founding board member of the Parke Bank. s
