Katz JCC to host inaugural Trails & Ales running event

Get your running shoes laced up for the Katz JCC’s inaugural running social event, Trails & Ales, on Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. This fun event begins with a scenic run through Kresson Trials in Cherry Hill. Following the run, participants can socialize with friends at the JCC while enjoying a cold brew.

“Trails & Ales is a great way for runners in the community to socialize with their friends on a spring evening outdoors and also get their exercise in for the day,” said Gene Bonetti, Katz JCC fitness director. “First, they’ll get a good heart pumping sweat in with a run, then socialize with fellow runners while enjoying some snacks and some cold beer graciously donated by Double Nickel Brewing Company of Pennsauken.”

This running social is open to the community and ages 15 and older are welcome; runners must be 21 and older to drink.
