Volunteers join to give back to seniors

On Sunday, Apr. 8, men from around our community joined together to take part in our second MENsches with Wrenches program, helping older adults with some of the tasks we tend to take for granted. Some of the men brought their children along for this morning of giving back. The MENsches met at Lions Gate and split up from there to help residents in each of our Jewish Senior Housing buildings with hanging pictures, moving and assembling furniture, putting up mezzuzahs, and other projects. The event was chaired by Matt Podolnick in collaboration with PJ Our Way and Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service. Pictured are Jeffrey Resnick and his son Jake getting ready to be MENsches for a resident at the Saltzman House.
