JCC offering wide variety of specialty camps

Over the summer, the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill offers weeklong specialty camps covering numerous interest areas within science, sports and art. All camps run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with both early and extended hours available for an additional daily cost.

Some of the camps this year include: “Next Generation Coding Camp” for children ages 6-10—campers learn coding in a structured environment with a focus on learning and fun; “3D Printing & Modeling Camp” for children ages 7-12—children will create 3D model prototypes, mod existing designs and print utilizing a 3D printer; and “Digital Fashion Design Camp” for children ages 10-14—all kids will gain hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator to design a stylish tote bag and summer dress or fall jacket.

The 76ers Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 7-13 allows campers to learn drills the pros use, meet Sixers and other NBA stars, and includes autographed Sixers gear, and much more! There are a variety of other sports camps throughout the summer to choose from as well.

For a full list of programs and to register, please visit the website at http://katzjcc.org/specialty-camps/. Camps are for children ages 5-14, with prices ranging from $250-$549 per week.
