JCC Annual Gala, March 22, honors AMI Foundation

The Margate JCC will hold its Annual Gala March 22, 6-9 p.m., at The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University in Atlantic City. This year’s Community Leadership Award winner is The AMI Foundation of Atlantic Medical Imaging, which will be recognized for its continuing commitment to the communities it serves.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized for the work the AMI Foundation has done to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve,” said Dr. David Levi, AMI Foundation vice president.

Founded in 2003, the AMI Foundation’s mission is to identify and develop opportunities to enhance the quality of life and improve the level of healthcare for community residents through education, programs and philanthropic endeavors. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $1,000,000 to various charitable organizations throughout South Jersey and Central Jersey.

“The AMI Foundation of Atlantic Medical Imaging has made a major difference in the lives of so many through their philanthropic endeavors in our local community. We are pleased to recognize their efforts to make our community a better place,” said Katz JCC Chief Executive Officer Jack I. Fox.

“We are so excited to honor the AMI Foundation which donates funding for innumerable services, including diagnostic testing and providing to local charities which give back to the community residents in need,” said Gala Co-Chair Susan Cohen.

“This is an event that both recognizes the AMI foundation and supports needy individuals in JCC programs with scholarships,” said JCC Board President and Gala Co-Chair Marc Neumann.

The Katz JCC Annual Gala is presented as an opportunity for the organization to recognize individuals who have had a positive community impact and to celebrate their business, political, philanthropic and personal achievements.

In turn, the event helps the Katz JCC raise funds to further its mission to provide the children and seniors of Atlantic County, as well as the community as a whole, programs and services that enhance and enrich lives. Scholarship awards will be given to Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City outstanding youth members.

The evening, which includes cocktails, dinner and live music, costs $200 per person. Sponsorships and tribute book ads are available.
