Families enjoy fun-filled Purim Party

Temima Rothmel and her daughter Shayna enjoyed a PJ Library storybook during PJ Library’s fun-filled Purim Party for children and their families. Children spent the morning learning how to make hamantaschen hands-on, followed by a special Purim edition of PJ Library story time. Families in attendance brought non-perishable, kosher snacks with them to donate to PJ Library’s “Snacks for Kids” food drive, which benefited JFCS food pantries. PJ Library, a national book and Jewish family engagement program, is available to families with children ages six months through eight years living in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties. It is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, funded locally by the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and individual donors. For more information, please contact Iris Snyder, Family Outreach coordinator, at (856) 751-9500, ext. 1118 or isnyder@jfedsnj.org.
