JFS is seeking “trash valets”

Jewish Family Service is looking for volunteers who can help take out the trash this winter.

“We have a group of senior citizens in Ventnor and Margate that are struggling with getting their trash out each week,” said Eileen Dillon, JFS Community Initiatives coordinator.

“Typically, we find college students to do this, but this leaves us without any trash valets in the winter season when they are needed most,” she noted. She encouraged local residents to check on elderly neighbors who might be in need of help with taking out the trash.
