Brigantine shul hosts Tu B’shevat Seder Feb. 2

Tu B’Shevat is the New Year for the trees. It is popularly celebrated by the eating of various fruits and nuts, especially those connected with the Land of Israel. In Israel, the day is celebrated as an “Arbor Day,” with tree planting by schoolchildren and adults alike.

Temple Beth Shalom of Brigantine is holding its 7th Annual Tu B’Shevat Seder and Shabbat Dinner on Friday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m. The entire community is invited to take part in this fun event. The meal will be catered by Seashore Gardens Living Center.

Come celebrate the renewal of life in Israel by drinking, eating and merrily welcoming the holiday and Shabbat! Jews from all over the country and world will be partnering with the JNF to make this a particularly special evening.

Reservations are required ASAP! Cost: $25 per person. Please call the office at (609) 266-0403 or send an email to office@seashul.org to make your reservation. Temple Beth Shalom is located at 4419 W. Brigantine Avenue.
