Leonard Glickman hired as new Jewish Community Foundation exec.

Following an extensive search, Milt Gottschalk, president of the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc., announced that the JCF has hired Leonard “Lenny” Glickman as the agency’s new executive director, effective Jan. 16.

Glickman is a respected executive in both the government and non-profit sectors. He has nearly 20 years of experience as the chief executive officer of non-profits and 10 years of experience in government, holding key positions for the late U.S. Senator John Heinz and at the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. Most recently, at FJC— A Foundation of Philanthropic Funds— he helped double the organization’s assets under management.

“I am excited to join JCF and assist people with their philanthropy,” said Glickman. “Philanthropy continues to be an important value and critical practice for Jews and all Americans.”

“We were impressed with Leonard’s commitment and ideas about connecting people’s generosity and aligning them with our mission,” said JCF President Milt Gottschalk.
