Kellman Brown students hear from alums at 1st Career Day

Kellman Brown Academy students kicked off their Middle School Research projects for the February Term with the first annual Career Panel. Alumni of Kellman Brown were invited to the school to share their career choices with the Middle School students. The six alums, spanning KBA classes from 1991-2007, covered a wide range of career paths, including teaching, business, finance, entrepreneurship, and law. On the panel were (top, from left), Yakir Gola, Mark Lazaroff, Alexis Kushner, Jon Adler, Tara DiBattista, and Eric Brown. Panelists described their specific job, time demands, and the personal skills required to be successful in their fields. They all emphasized the need for hard work, patience, and willingness to work with other people. They all agreed that their time at KBA prepared them for high school and their transition to a bigger school was not a problem. Kellman Brown Academy serves students from preschool through eighth grade. It is located in Voorhees. Tours are available.
