January 18 social event for LGBTQ teens

Teens in grades 7-12 who identify as LGBTQ are welcome to attend the Project Rainbow winter event on Thursday, Jan. 18 from 7-9 p.m. at the JCC. Project Rainbow provides a supportive and inviting environment for teens to identify as LGBTQ and their allies.

“It has been wonderful to provide teens with this program,” said Sara Sideman, JCC Camps at Medford assistant camp director. “Project Rainbow offers a safe space, a welcoming space and of course a place that is fun for everyone.”

To RSVP or to learn more to this program, please visit katzjcc.org/teen-programs or contact Beth Wynne at bwynne@jfedsnj.org.

Project Rainbow is a collaboration of the Katz JCC and JFCS, and generously funded by the Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Women’s Foundation, and the Gesher Philanthropy Initiative/JCC Camps at Medford.
