Installations and awards set for Oct. 25

The Jewish Federation is hosting its 95th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Join us for the installation of our officers and board members, as well as the presentation of awards and a celebration of the 20th anniversary of our campus. We will be honoring Andi Levin and Jeffrey Resnick as the recipients of the H. Richard Dollinger Community Service Award and Shellie Greenspun Young Leadership Award, respectively. Special recognition will be given to our Legacy Heritage OnBoard participants, Matthew Podolnick and Melissa M. Grossman, as well as to Martha Karasick, recipient of this year’s Staff Achievement Award.

The officers being installed, each serving one-year terms, are: Glenn Fuhrman, president, who is being installed for a second one-year term; Dr. Neil Levin, president elect and vice president; Amy Clayman, Brad Molotsky, Harry Platt, and Ivy Brown Rovner, vice presidents.

The Jewish Federation welcomes and will install the following new board members for 2017-2018: Stacy Farber, Rabbi Steven Lindemann, and Dr. Janine Sobel for three years.

The board also welcomes new agency presidents to the board—Milt Gottschalk, president of Jewish Community Foundation; Larry Gottlieb, president of Jewish Community Properties; Dr. Marcia Baruch, president of Jewish Community Relations Council; Joel Schwartz, president of the Jewish Community Voice; and David Gutin, president of Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service.

In addition, the event will thank members of our community who will be stepping down from the Federation Board: Valerie Gladfelter, KC Isdaner, and Albert ElGrissy.

Thank you to our presenting sponsor Wolf Commercial Real Estate for their support of the Jewish Federation and this event.
