The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is pleased to announce that The Event for Major Gifts will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. This annual event is both an opportunity to thank and recognize our major donors to the Jewish Federation family and the kick-off to our new year. Major gift households are those that make a $5,000 pledge to the Jewish Federation family of agencies, with a minimum pledge of $1,000 to JFund. This year’s event is generously presented by Donald and Judy Love, and chaired by Dr. Stacy Lewin Farber and Daniel Farber.

The Event for Major Gifts will be held in Philadelphia at the National Liberty Museum, where the core themes align with the Jewish Federation’s values: Leadership and good character, diversity and inclusion, peaceful conflict resolution, and civic engagement. Guests will enjoy an elaborate cocktail reception in a beautiful space, as well as remarks by Lisa Friedman Clark, who likes to refer to herself as the “Luckiest Unlucky” person she knows. Her life has taken some very difficult turns, yet she has remained extraordinarily optimistic and involved in her work and the Jewish community. She inspires audiences to understand new ways of approaching personal hurdles and disappointments, and candidly talks of the important role that Federation has had in every facet of her journey. She is a proud LOJE (Endowed Lion of Judah) and has been an active leader for Federation in and around the New York tri-state area.

The Event for Major Gifts is sponsored this year by Judy and Donald Love at the Presenting level; Atrium Financial Associates at the Sapphire level; and Cooper University Health Care, MDVIP, Pennrose, and Platt Memorial Chapels, Inc. at the Emerald level.

In appreciation for the generosity of our major donors, there is no couvert for this event. Your 2018 major gift JFund pledge is required with your RSVP.
