OBITUARIES

JUDY BLUME, 63, of Santa Monica, CA, passed away after a two-year struggle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her 20-year-old son, Jonah Blume-Kemkes, her partner and caretaker Andreas Kemkes, and her 67-year-old brother, Ray Blume from Voorhees. Judy had a career in film editing and post-production and then went back to school to earn a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and counseled film students for Columbia College Hollywood, and was in private practice as an LPC. She enjoyed Broadway musicals, traveling and professional soccer and baseball. Donations can be made to ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd. STANTON FISCHER, of Voorhees, passed away on Aug. 20. Husband for 35 years to the late Lillian Fischer. Father of Donna (Philip) Starkman and Cathy (Adam) Belsky. SELMA R. GOLDSTEIN, 88, passed away on Aug. 11. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Melvin R. Goldstein; her sons Dr. Jack (Brenda), Dr. Marc (Dr. Arlene Lauf) and Michael, Esq. (Emily); seven grandsons, Joshua (Alexis), Eli (Robyn), Jared (Stephanie), Alex, Ethan, Zachary and Jonathan; six great-grandchildren: Marlie, Josselyn, Seth, Justin, Danielle and Landon. She was the sister of the late Janice Albert and the late Martin Zoblin. Many will remember her from the Mt. Laurel bookshop, The Literary Center, which she owned and operated with her sister. IRVING RAAB, of Vineland, passed away on Aug. 16. Husband of the late Esther Raab. Father of Abe (Kathy) Raab and Marvin (Marsha) Raab. Grandfather of Zachary, Claire (Jordan), Joshua, Stefanie (Mark), Gabriel, Jodi, Tova and Shayne. Great-grandfather of Simone, Joel, Levi, Udel, Dean and Myles. Irving was a Holocaust Survivor.
