OBITUARIES

KENNETH BASS, 81 of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Mt. Laurel, passed away on July 29. He was born on June 14, 1936 in Camden. He had a love for most Philadelphia sports teams and was an avid New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan and enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family, with an extra special love for his grandchildren as they were spread out in different parts of the country. He was an accountant by trade and had a career that spanned nearly 60 years as a practicing CPA. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Farber Bass; children, Murray (Faith) Bass, Scott Bass, Marion (Bob) Toth and Roy Bass; step-children, Kathie (Keith) Rose and Eric (Kathy) Steinberg; six grandchildren, Robert (Avalon) Toth, Daniel Toth, Emily Toth, Amber (Charlie) Hurley, Eddie Tustin and Michael Tustin; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Hurley and Ariana Toth.

DR. SIDNEY D. LAVINE, of Cherry Hill, passed away on Aug. 4. Husband of Marlene Lavine. Father of Stephanie Lavine and Suzanne (Joe Pless) Lavine. Grandfather of Balzhana. PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc.

MILDRED (MUDIE) SPERLING, of Margate, formerly of Cherry Hill (Woodcrest) passed away on May 28. Husband of Herbert Sperling for 66 years; mother of Howard (Meryl) and Randee, and grandmother to Alexandra, Justin and Grace.
