Educators sought for Sept. 10 conference

Calling all early childhood, religious school, and day school teachers! The Jewish Federation’s Center for Impact & Innovation is hosting a Community Professional Development Conference on Sunday, Sept. 10, at Kellman Brown Academy. We’ll be diving into the question: How do you as educators create a warm and welcoming classroom and community?

You’ll be able to network with other teachers of the same grade throughout the day and have a special opportunity to debrief with just your school at the end of the day. This conference features keynote speaker Dr. Ron Wolfson, a visionary leader of American Jewry, co-founder of Synagogue 3000, and author of “Relational Judaism.”

Breakout sessions include a teacher text study, a review of new state guidelines for early childhood, a Madrichim/teen-aid track, and lunch table topics.

Registration is now open!

Please RSVP to your school director by Aug. 28 to reserve your spot. For more information, please contact Charlene Green at cgreen@jfedsnj.org or (856) 751- 9500, ext. 1403.
