Save Sept. 17 for an evening of mayhem

Save Sunday, Sept. 17 for an Evening of Murder & Mystery with the Federation’s Center for Impact and Innovation. “Murder in the Shiva House” is a live-action, murder mystery dinner theater where YOU get to be part of the story. Will you be the one to solve the mystery? And what’s a shiva house without food? Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert while you try to figure out who did it. The mayhem begins at 6:30 p.m.

This event is sponsored by Platt Memorial Chapels with proceeds benefitting PJ Library of Southern New Jersey. If you don’t already know and love PJ Library, you should! This program sends FREE, age-appropriate Jewish storybooks and music CDs to children each month to build and strengthen Jewish identity in the home.

Event Chair Matthew Podolnick said, “I am excited to be a part of this evening bringing some fun and education to the community. PJ Library is a great program and I am happy to support it. And we can all agree that a murder in a shiva house would definitely liven up the mourners. We promise this will be a shiva you won’t forget. What’s more fun than eating and a murder mystery to boot?”

Registration opens August 7—mark your calendar!

Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information, please contact Ronit Boyd at rboyd@jfedsnj.org or (856) 751-9500, ext. 1188.
