On May 11, 90 golfers teed up for a rematch at the 4th Annual JFS v. JCC Golf Tournament, a joint fundraising event that raised more than $45,000 for Jewish Family Service and the Katz JCC in Margate. JFS, the reigning champion and now a three-time winner, held onto the trophy, which will be displayed at the agency’s Margate office until next year’s rematch.

“Being the first tournament of the season, we are happy with the turnout and glad that everyone had a great time. We raised much needed dollars for essential community services,” said Dan Koch, Team JCC co-chair.

“Despite it being a chilly day, with the support of dozens of sponsors and supporters, we were once again able to offer participants fun contests, exciting on-course activities and exemplary prizes making for an all-around great day of golf.” said Darren Matik, Team JFS co-chair. s
