Innovative conference for area professionals

The Center for Impact & Innovation (CII), a department of Jewish Federation, is launching a forward-thinking Professional Development Conference: “Enriching Our Warm and Welcoming Community.” In South Jersey, we are privileged to have an invested and active Jewish community, with a higher than national average affiliation rate. CII continually strives to seek out new and innovative ideas, trends, and practices to bring to South Jersey. The conference is slated for Sunday, Sept. 10.

In past years, there has been a community-wide professional development series for different segments of the community. In an ongoing vision of having a holistic approach to the community, this year we are looking to bring the community together for one in-depth conference with all-star keynote speakers and impactful individualized learning tracks. The conference is designed for Jewish community professionals and will have specific breakouts for religious school teachers, preschool teachers, and synagogue professionals. All classes and seminars will involve the overarching theme of a “warm and welcoming community.” There will be breakout sessions exploring best strategies and pressing issues aligned with each track: Education, leadership, religion, and more, including learning with experts in the field of community building, special needs programming, creating a welcoming environment for interfaith families, and speakers to enhance the community at large.

Community professionals are encouraged to learn about the latest trends in their field and network with others in the community, to collaborate, innovate, and spark change for our South Jersey Jewish community on Sunday, Sept. 10.
