JCC Medford Camps sets open houses Mar. 19 & Apr. 9

The JCC Camps at Medford, an ACA accredited and award-winning South Jersey day camp, will host two spring open houses on Sunday, Mar. 19 and Sunday, Apr. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families are invited to tour the facilities, meet the directors, and enjoy snacks and activities for kids. New camp families will save $250 per camper when they sign up at an open house.

“At the JCC Camps at Medford, we strive to provide a nurturing environment where campers can have an incredible summer filled with friendship, independence and unforgettable memories,” said Beth Segal, camp director. “Our priority is for every camper to grow physically, emotionally and mentally while having the time of their life.”

Camp is located on a 120- acre shaded site, and includes six age-specific programs: Camp Hilltop for age 3-6, Camp Shalom for ages 7-9, Camp Aaron for campers age 10-13, Chaverim Travel Camp for ages 12 and 13 and the Gesher/Leaders in Training (LIT) program for teens age 14.

Each division is supervised by division heads, trained counselors, activity specialists and American Red Cross certified lifeguards to ensure a safe and fun summer experience. Each division of camp includes age-appropriate sports fields and swimming pools, and all campers enjoy fishing, lake inflatables and boating on camp’s picturesque lakefront. Campers will also learn every day about the importance of Jewish values, such as community, respect, sportsmanship, kindness, family, spirit and tzedakah (charity).

Transportation to and from camp and daily lunch is provided in a nut-free and allergy friendly environment.
