Inclusive community celebrates Tu B’Shevat


In celebration of the Jewish New Year for Trees and Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month, Cong. M’kor Shalom held a spirited Shabbat/Tu B’Shevat service and oneg featuring Israeli dancing, crafts, and an inspirational discussion for caregivers, on Saturday, Feb. 4. The event brought together dozens of families from throughout the South Jersey Jewish community. Prominent psychologist Dr. Dan Gottlieb spoke about the importance of self-compassion when taking care of others.
