Beth El kids aid Voorhees Animal Orphanage

The Voorhees Animal
Orphanage (VAO) recently
paid a visit to Cong. Beth El,
where the children made sock
toys and rope scratchers for
the cats and dogs. They also
very generously donated
much needed supplies to the
shelter. Pictured were (from
left), VAO volunteer Patti
Merovitz; Dina Eliezer, Beth El
preschool director; and Beth
El teacher Sheryl Morales.
Open since 1988, the VAO is a
non-profit, open-intake, nonkill
community animal shelter
that serves 15 municipalities
in Camden County. To find
out more, visit the VAO at 419
Cooper Rd. in Voorhees (next
to the Firehouse). You can
