Thanks to Sandra Feldman, The Commons at 1721 Springdale Road is now home to a playground where children and families can enjoy life’s precious moments together. The playground was built in memory of Sandra’s late husband, David Feldman, who passed away last year at the age of 85.

David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother to his family, in addition to being a respected entrepreneur and businessman in South Jersey. He always put family at the forefront of everything he did and strove to pass his knowledge and assistance on to his children and grandchildren. He supported many philanthropic endeavors to better the lives of many people in the community and is remembered for his generosity.

The David Feldman Memorial Playground is meant to serve as a reminder that every life is precious and family time should be treasured. The Jewish Federation is grateful to Sandra and the rest of the Feldman family for their generosity and for making such a meaningful gift for other families.
