Nesenoff talks about “A funny thing happened on the way to the White House” at Chabad Shabbaton

Dr. DAVID NESENOFF Dr. DAVID NESENOFF Dr. David Nesenoff, a renowned speaker, rabbi, journalist and filmmaker, will be the guest speaker at a Chabad at the Shore Shabbaton the weekend of August 5-6. Nesenoff’s will share observations about Israel, the Jewish people and anti- Semitism. Those who have listened to him speak in the past have described him as “hilarious,” “mind-blowing,” “uplifting,” and “life-changing.”

On Friday, August 5, Nesenoff will speak during Shabbat dinner at 8:15 p.m. (services begin at 7:30 p.m.). In his presentation, “A funny thing happened to me at the White House,” he will describe how his famous interview with journalist Helen Thomas, “dean” of the Washington Press Corps in 2010, changed both of their lives—and the world—forever. The cost for the evening, including dinner, is $30 per person. On Saturday, August 6, Nesenoff will speak at 12:30 p.m. during Shabbat Services. In this presentation, “From Chopped Liver to Liverpool,” Nesenoff will talk about his unusual personal “Jewish journey” from Conservative Rabbi to Chabad to the Beatles. The Saturday program is free of charge and open to the community.
