Help lead through generosity & vision

The Lions of Judah are strong women of all ages, an international sisterhood of thousands of global activists who care deeply about the Jewish future. They play a vital role in creating social justice, aiding the vulnerable, preserving human dignity, and building Jewish identity. Our Lions demonstrate their dedication to the Jewish community by contributing their time and resources, while setting an exemplary standard of leadership and giving.

The Lion of Judah symbolizes strength, honor, and dedication for the Tribe of Judah, the dominant tribe of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, and it continues to reflect those values today. Women who are Lions of Judah are leading their peers through generosity, strength, and vision.

Women who give a gift of $5,000 or more to the Jewish Federation’s JFund are recognized as a Lion of Judah and receive a special pin in honor of their gift. Each time that a woman sustains or increases her gift, she is eligible to have a precious stone set into her pin in recognition of her continued commitment to the Jewish Federation.

Lions also enjoy national conferences and premier local events, such as private luncheons, cultural events, and more. They hear from top speakers, learn more about important issues, and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the world around them.
