FedConnect Concierge brings one-stop shopping for all your questions

FEDERATION 411
JENNIFER DUBROW WEISS
Jewish Federation CEO

The Jewish Federation is one of the ties that bind our South Jersey Jewish community together. From early childhood education to in-home care for seniors—and everything in between—our Jewish Federation family is there when and where you need us. Our new FedConnect Concierge falls under that “everything in between.”

The Jewish Federation has always been a concierge of sorts. We get calls and emails everyday asking for guidance in finding the right program or service to meet a particular need: Transportation to a doctor’s appointment for a senior, swim lessons for a child who is timid around water, help navigating a situation of bullying or anti-Semitism in local school, financial assistance to help strengthen a teen’s Jewish identity with a trip to Israel, a warm welcome to new community members and help finding a rabbi and a synagogue to call home, and so on. The FedConnect Concierge finally gives this service a name.

We know the community knows to call us when they have a question that needs a little more guidance than a Google search. And now, there’s no question about which number to call. No need to guess if it’s Federation or the Katz JCC or JFCS, and so on. Our concierge specialist knows just the right person to put you in touch with throughout our entire family of agencies with a call to just one number: (856) 673- 2554. And for those who prefer email, we have that, too! You can now email our concierge specialist at concierge@jfedsnj.org

With giving our concierge service a name, we are rolling out a new FedConnect Community Directory. Stay tuned for more information on this soon! It’s a retooling of our current online directory that will give our community organizations and local businesses more visibility and our website visitors a better, more userfriendly experience in navigating the directory listings. Our FedConnect Concierge will have an offline version as well to distribute to anyone seeking information and resources within the specified category.

The concierge and community directory are just parts of the larger, overall concept behind FedConnect. Our new website homepage is built around the concept of connecting our community to the resources and events happening right here in Jewish South Jersey. Our online community calendar is now part of FedConnect, and we’ve grouped our programming together by service area and not agency to make finding what you need quicker and easier. Looking to volunteer? There’s a link on our homepage to volunteer opportunities throughout our Jewish Federation family of agencies. Looking for advocacy programming or community engagement? Look no further than our homepage. Find direct links to family and youth, senior services, and special needs on our homepage as well. All right at your fingertips—when and where you need it. Visit jewishsouthjersey.org.

Shalom! How can we help you today? . jweiss@jfedsnj.org
