JCC’s day camps schedule open house events for Apr. 17

The second camp open house will be held on Sunday, Apr. 17 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the campsite, 400 Tuckerton Road in Medford The Katz JCC in Cherry Hill is the home of two award-winning day camps, Early Childhood Camps at the Katz JCC and the JCC Camps at Medford, which are dedicated to enriching the lives of children by teaching values and life skills in a fun, safe, Jewish environment while creating lasting friendships and memories.

Both camps will host open houses on Sunday, Apr. 17 and invite you to attend, learn about our programs and see first-hand that the JCC will provide children with a memorable summer.

Early Childhood Camps, named one of Suburban Family’s best day camps in 2014 and 2015, is designed for children 2-5 and is the place for little campers to have big fun! Housed at the Katz JCC, ECC provides children with a variety of activities including instructional and free swim, music and movement, sports, creative arts, nature, cooking, special weekly themes and more.

Children are supervised by a caring and nurturing staff, each bunk is staffed with an adult head counselor in addition to junior counselors, which provides a 4:1 camper to counselor ratio. Flexible days and hours allow you to choose the program that fits your schedule while also providing your child with a fun-filled summer.

The JCC Camps at Medford, located at 400 Tuckerton Road in Medford, will host its open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families will tour the facilities, meet the directors, enjoy face painting and balloon animals, and see what makes JCC Camps at Medford the ultimate day camp for children ages 3-14. When you’re a kid, every summer matters, so come see why campers love it here!

At the JCC Camps at Medford, traditions, values and spirit are woven into each camp day. Located on a 120-acre shaded site, campers enjoy outstanding facilities that include four swimming pools designed for each age level (pools for older campers include water slides and diving board), a picturesque lake with fishing and boating, sports fields, a water splash park, nature complex, petting zoo, archery, art centers, and much more. Highly trained staff delivers fun, provides safety, and helps your child grow every day. Camp is a nut aware program, and daily lunch for all campers, which is included, offers gluten free and allergy aware options.

New camp families will receive $250 off per camper when they register at the open house.

JCC Camps at Medford is accredited by the American Camp Association, was awarded the Courier Post’s 2014 Readers Choice for Best Day Camp, one of Suburban Family’s Best Day Camps in 2014 and 2015 and selected for a 2016 Best of Cherry Hill Award in the campgrounds category.
