ANN J. BELSKY, of Voorhees, passed away on Feb. 1. Wife of Dr. Daniel Belsky. Mother of Michael (Theo) Belsky, Sheryl (R. RENEE SHAPIRO, of Cherry Hill, passed away on Jan. 30. Wife for 52 years of Steve Shapiro. Mother of Stacy Shapiro and Marci (Michael) Rosenstein. Grandmother of Ava, Eliza, Drew and Ari. She was a loving, compassionate and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She restarted her education in her thirties, earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College. Renee worked for mental health care agencies and maintained a private practice in Haddonfield counseling children and adults. She was also an avid reader and theatergoer. Renee especially loved traveling, visiting Africa, Europe, Australia and the Far East. Some of her fondest memories are time spent on family vacations, including annual trips to Sea Isle City. She will be remembered for her strong social conscience and loyalty to those around her. Her life was centered on her family, who adored her.
