FRANCES TUCKERMAN LOTSTEIN, 87, passed away on Jan. 23. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Leon Lotstein. Survived by her brother, Don (Elaine), two daughters, Carol Gartzman Gooberman (late Alan) (Bruce) & Evie Jacobson (late Bruce), six grandchildren, Sheera (Erik), Steven (Alanna), Evan, Marcy, Jeffrey (Brittney), and Lauren, and one great-grandchild, Alyssa. The daughter of the late Samuel & Mary (Levinson) Tuckerman, Frances grew up in West Philadelphia and graduated from West Philly High. Frances married Leon in 1948, and the two enjoyed a beautiful life together in Pennsauken, where they raised their two daughters. Frances worked as an office manager for various doctors. Leon and Frances were dedicated members of Beth Jacob-Beth Israel Synagogue, and Frances was a part of the Synagogue Sisterhood. Leon and Frances moved to Uxbridge in Cherry Hill, where they lived for many years, and they continued to be actively involved in weekly bridge games, events at the JCC and Cong. M’kor Shalom. As time went on, Leon and Frances moved to Lions Gate in Voorhees, where they could be more involved with a community without going too far. EDNA WEXLER, of Cherry Hill, passed away on Jan. 20. Wife of the late Julius Wexler. Mother of Paul (Meryl) Wexler and Risa (Robert) Gelman. Grandmother of Jessica, Dean, Josh and Michele. Sister of Eleanor Schomer. Edna was the former Executive Secretary to the Director of the Camden County Welfare Board for 29 years, retiring from that position in 1984.
