KELSEY TALARICO KELSEY TALARICO My name is Kelsey Talarico, and this year I am serving as AEFTY’s Social Action vice president. As a youth group, we have done so many amazing things this year to help our community. To name a few: We made cards for hospitalized children, collected money through a bake sale and Social Action Service for Fox Chase Cancer Center, and collected over 130 pounds of hygiene products for the Covenant House. We have so many other wonderful projects planned for the rest of the year and we can’t wait to start working on them!

One of our biggest ideas is to start a community garden that will be run by AEFTY. We plan to teach the youth in our community what sustainable gardening is, and at the end of the year all of our produce will be donated to a local food bank. This will be a great way to get everyone in our community involved, and we’ll be able to help so many people!

Personally, social action is a passion of mine. Ever since I was little, my parents have taught me to give back to others and do everything I can to make the world a better place. I love volunteering my time and brainstorming new ideas to better my community! .
