Local author coming to Temple Sinai

Temple Sinai of Cinnaminson is hosting an Author Book Brunch, sponsored by the Sisterhood and Men’s Club, on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The event will take places at Temple Sinai, 2101 New Albany Road in Cinnaminson.

Local author Patti Sheehy will be in attendance along with Frank, the main character from her book “The Boy Who Said No.” This is a true story about a young boy who flees Cuba and longs to go to America to join his girlfriend.

Copies of the book will be on hand to purchase and have signed.

Sheehy is a graduate of Rider University and has spent her career in public relations and marketing as an executive, primarily in the healthcare industry. She lives with her husband, Robert Hunter, in Haddon Heights. “The Boy Who Said No” is her first novel, and while writing it, she worked closely with the real-life protagonist, Frank Mederos.
