JOEL “JOEY” GOLIN, 69, of Cherry Hill, died on Aug. 27. Husband for almost 50 years of Pattie Golin. Father of Keith (Mindy) Golin, Drew (Sara) Golin, Jaime (Mike) Friedman and the late Scott D. Golin. Grandfather of six. Brother of Lou (Lynnda) Golin. Brother-inlaw of Sydni White. Uncle of five. Born in Phila., Mr. Golin grew up in the Wynnefield neighborhood and graduated from Carson Long Military Academy. He was a principal in the family’s wholesale meat firm and managed the Meals on Wheels program for a division of Betty the Caterer.

JAY L. JASPAN, formerly of Haddon Twp., died on Sept. 1. Father of David (Randi) Jaspan, Michael (Tamara) Jaspan and Ira (Peggy) Jaspan. Grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of one. Mr. Jaspan was born in Camden and graduated Camden High School. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII who attended Machinist Mate School in Boston and was assigned to the USS McCormick and then the USS Mt. Vernon. Mr. Jaspan attended Temple Univ. on the GI Bill and worked for the RCA Corp. for 46 years. He was a founding member of the Jewish War Veterans Furer- Barag-Wolf Post #126. He served as chaplain for the Post and cochaired its annual Veterans Day Service at Temple Beth Sholom.
