Sharim V’Sharot sets auditions
Sharim V’Sharot, a 24-voice Jewish choir now celebrating its 14th year, is seeking new members for the 2013-14 season, including concerts in Princeton, Lawrenceville, Newtown, PA, and beyond. The largely a cappella choir sings in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, Italian, French, English, and other languages, and has openings for sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses.
Sharim V’Sharot, whose name means “People of Song,” was founded in 2000, is sponsored by Rider University’s Hillel, and is under the direction of Dr. Elayne Robinson Grossman, former director of New York’s Rottenberg Chorale.
