Judith (nee Smith) and Michael Elkins of Mt. Laurel and John DiGennaro of Broomall, PA announce the engagement of their children, Jason Elkins and Nikki DiGennaro. Nikki is the daughter of the late Ronna (nee Weber) DiGennaro.

Jason graduated from the Univ. of Michigan with a B.A. degree in political science. He serves as the controller at Elkins Chevrolet, the family-operated dealership in Marlton.

Nikki graduated from the Univ. of Rhode Island with a B.A. degree in communications and a minor in public relations. She works in the public relations department at QVC.

Jason is the grandson of Seymour and Elinor Smith of Atlantic City, formerly of Huntingdon Valley, and Gene and Sally Elkins of Naples, FL and Long Beach Island. Nikki is the granddaughter of the late Ethel and Nathan Weber of Wynnfield, and the late Lucy and John DiGennaro of Philadelphia.

Sharing in the couple’s happiness are Jason’s brothers Adam and Josh and future sister in-law Arielle, and Nikki’s brothers Matthew and Scott and sister-in-law Lisa.

The couple, who lives in Washington Square, is planning a wedding in October 2012 in Philadelphia.
