Scholar-In-Residence weekend, entitled “Children of Abraham,” begins on Friday night with a Shabbat service at 8 p.m. There is no cost for the service. On Saturday at 8 p.m., scholars and panelists Rabbi Stacy Offner, Muallim Munir Shaikh and Reverend Frank Rivas will debate the differences and similarities between the three major world religions that trace their origins to Abraham. A wine and cheese reception will follow. A ticket is required for this event. On Sunday, the Men’s Club sponsors a breakfast from 9-11 a.m. followed by a discussion with the scholars.
