Dubai police seek Netanyahu arrest
FALLOUT
      Dubai police will seek the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of the Mossad over the assassination of a top Hamas official. Dubai Police Chief Dhahi Khalfan Tamim said he will ask Dubai’s prosecutor to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Meir Dagan, Al Jazeera reported.

Hamas leader disowns son
FAMILY FEUD…
      A Hamas leader has disowned his son after learning that he spied on the terrorist group for Israel. Sheik Hassan Yousef, who has been held in an Israeli prison since 2005, said in a statement that he, his wife and other children disown his oldest son. The statement reportedly was smuggled out of the prison.

      Israel began returning gas masks to its citizens. Gas masks collected from citizens nearly two years ago to replace outdated components were returned in Or Yehuda.

Israeli lawmakers defeat marriage bill
      A bill that allows civil marriage in Israel to couples who could not be married by the rabbinate failed by a large margin in its initial reading. The Civil Union bill, introduced by the Kadima Party’s Meir Sheetrit, was defeated 58-22. The bill allows a civil marriage where at least one member of a couple is not recognized as Jewish. (JTA)

Palestinians thwart attack
      Israel halted the launch of a Kassam rocket in the West Bank with information provided by the Palestinian Security Forces. The homemade rocket was set to be launched toward the center of the country, one of Israel’s most populated areas.
