Brunch to feature Jewish Agency Israel Dept. director

Leah Cohen Leah Golan, director general of the Israel Department at the Jewish Agency, will be the featured speaker at a Jewish Federation special briefing for Major Donors. The brunch will take place on Sunday, Mar. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the home of Arlene and Ed Plasky.

Golan’s presentation, “Your Living Bridge to Israel,” will highlight the programs in Israel made possible with dollars raised from Annual Campaign contributions.

Golan has worked for the Jewish Agency since 1992 in a variety of positions, including regional director of Southern Israel, director of Aliyah for Western Countries and Countries in Distress, and director of the Planning Division of the Israel Department.

“We are delighted to be able to offer this experience to our Major Donors,” said Carol Lupo, 2010 Annual Campaign chair. “Leah Golan is incredibly articulate, on the ground, and in the know.”

Major Donors are contributors to the Jewish Federation and/or its family of agencies at the highest levels throughout the Southern New Jersey community.
