Forty years later, Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service invites you to revisit this colorful decade at the Stepping Out with JFCS fundraiser on Saturday, Apr. 24 at 8:30 p.m. at the Katz JCC on the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus. Organizers are promising a truly groovy event.

About 500 guests will enjoy delicious dinner stations, an open bar, a hip dance party by Marc Rose Productions, and the opportunity to bid on a variety of luxurious auction packages featuring travel, entertainment, restaurants, jewelry, and sports memorabilia. Some of the high-end items include: a fabulous three-night spa package for two at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Mass.; a beautiful vintage 18kt. white and rose gold necklace, courtesy of Billig Jewelers; numerous gift cards to Bernard’s Salon and Spa; a 27-inch iMac computer donated by Alison and Andrew Keim, and a pair of exquisite Charriol 18kt. white gold and diamond earrings donated by Serago Roberts. Other exciting prizes are also available.

All proceeds from the evening benefit the programs and services of JFCS, which help people in our community at this time of critical need.

“We find ourselves having to provide more than ever for the community in these difficult economic times, but because revenue streams are diminished we need to raise more funds than ever,” said Stepping Out Chair Ruth Manin. “We hope the community will support this event, and we know that everyone who attends will have a fabulous time. So deck yourself out in your finest tie-dyed threads, cruise on over to Stepping Out on Apr. 24, and don’t forget your love beads! Can you dig it?”

Tickets are $90 per person. Tickets can be purchased by calling 424-1333, or emailing specialevents@jfedsnj.org. Agency sponsorships start at $500, and sponsors will receive courtesy tickets to the event, as well as other publicity consideration. .
